Why Classroom Dock

Built to never get in the way

No separate tab, no one app per task. One panel that adapts to whoever is standing in front of it.

Built specifically for LessonUp

Not a generic toolbox: a dock designed around what a LessonUp lesson actually looks like, matching LessonUp's own look and feel.

Find things fast, fuzzy too

The search bar matches not just a tool's name but also what it's for: type "wikipedia" and you'll find Reference. Typo-tolerant too. Plus a row of your most recently used tools, and a Favourites row you build yourself by dragging tools onto it.

Fits your teaching

Filter the dock by Primary, Secondary, Vocational or Higher ed, pick "Essentials" for the tools you use every lesson anyway, or put it together entirely yourself.

Classes, available everywhere

Save a class list once and load it with one click into Pick a name, Make groups, Attendance, Seating chart, the Spinner and the Calendar. Type names yourself, or import them in one go from a SOMtoday or Magister CSV export.

Accessible

A read-aloud button on almost every part of the dock, including text straight from the lesson page. Detects Dutch or English on its own.

Remembers your setup

Seating chart, favourites, tool preferences and recently used tools are all kept, even after reloading the page.

Privacy-friendly

Everything runs locally in your browser; nothing is sent to external servers. Microphone-based tools stay strictly local.

All 67 tools

One dock, six categories

Every tool below is its own part of the dock, with its own icon and its own panel.

Search for what a tool does or a subject too, not just its name: try "wikipedia", "maths", "music class" or "pe".

No tool found. Try a different word, or browse all 67 tools above.
